FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What makes it different from other engine flushes?
It is the only engine flush that adds lubrication and protection to your engine while cleaning. It uses a non-solvent base detergent and a dispersant instead of volatile solvents.
Is it safe and eco-friendly?
Yes. It is non-toxic, not flammable, biodegradable, contains 100% natural esters and no VOC solvent, and is qualified with REACH Compliance.
How do I use it?
Before changing the used oil and filter, add it to the motor oil. Idle for 5 minutes and rev to 3,000 rpm for 30 seconds, then idle for 10 minutes and rev to 3,000 rpm for 30 seconds. Stop the engine, drain the crankcase, replace the filter and refill with fresh oil.
Can I rev the engine after adding it?
Yes. You can rev your car after adding it, and it cleans the engine effectively at higher RPM.
What does it clean?
It dissolves sludge, cleans the crankcase and clears deposits from narrow oil passages clogged by gunk, so the oil flows freely.
Can I use it to flush a CVT?
Yes. Before a CVT fluid change, pour it into the CVT transmission box and drive as normal for a day, then drain the fluid the next day and refill with KM+ CVT Fully Synthetic Fluid.
What oil should I use after flushing?
The KM+ Nano Lubricant user guide recommends flushing with KM+ Advanced Engine Flush first, then pouring in KM+ Nano Lubricant.
When should I use it?
Just before an engine oil and filter change.
How long does the flush take?
About 15 minutes: idle for 5 minutes and rev to 3,000 rpm for 30 seconds, then idle for 10 minutes and rev to 3,000 rpm for 30 seconds again, before draining.
Does it protect the engine during the flush?
Yes. It adds lubrication that protects engine surfaces while it cleans.
Will my new oil last longer?
Yes. By dissolving sludge and cleaning the crankcase, it helps enhance the life of fresh engine oil.
