Not a single injector or fuel-system problem in 175,000 km
I bought my Porsche Cayenne 3.0 Diesel new in 2011 from Porsche Malaysia. As of today, I have clocked 175,000 km on this car, and I have used KM+ in it from the first day I owned it.
I have not encountered a single incident of injector, fuel pump, or any combustion and fuel-system related problem on this car, even though diesel quality in Malaysia was not good enough for this high-performance engine. My group of friends who bought similar Porsche Cayenne 3.0 Diesels encountered some injector issues, even though their cars did not run as many kilometres as mine.
Furthermore, my car consistently achieves 1,100 km per full tank of diesel, whereas the other Porsche owners only achieve 900 to 950 km per tank with similar diesel. That is fuel savings of 10–20%.
