A clean fluid change, done right

Check your gearbox and specificationConfirm it is a conventional 4- to 10-speed automatic (not CVT or DCT). Check your car with Ask KM+ on the “Check Gearbox Support” tab, and follow the fluid specification in your owner’s manual.

Change at your car’s intervalDrain and refill, or flush, at the interval in your owner’s manual. Change earlier if you drive mostly in heavy traffic, hot weather or hilly areas.

Fill to the correct levelUse the quantity your gearbox needs and check the level as the manufacturer specifies, usually with the engine running and the fluid within the manufacturer’s specified temperature range.

Add gearbox care if neededFor regular care, add KM+ Advanced Nano ATF Treatment (one 120 ml bottle per 4–6 L). If the gearbox already jerks, slips or is slow to engage, add KM+ AT Fix-IT (one 150 ml bottle per 4–6 L) to revitalise hardened seals in the hydraulic control system.

Tip: if the old fluid is black, smells burnt or the magnet is covered in metal particles, have your workshop inspect the gearbox first, then flush it and replace the filter following the manufacturer’s procedure before refilling.

Short answer: It depends on the exact fluid specification your gearbox requires. On the “Check Gearbox Support” tab, enter your make, model, year and engine variant and Ask KM+ will check it for you. If more information is needed, WhatsApp us and our team will confirm.

Can I use it in a CVT or a dual-clutch (DCT/DSG) gearbox?

Short answer: No. CVTs need a dedicated CVT fluid: use KM+ CVT Fully Synthetic Fluid. Dual-clutch gearboxes need their own specified fluid.

What does NanoEster Technology do?

Short answer: Polar ester molecules are attracted to metal surfaces, helping hold a strong lubricating film on heavily loaded gears and bearings, and supporting cleanliness and stable friction.

How often should I change it?

Short answer: Follow the interval in your owner’s manual. Hot weather, heavy traffic, towing and hilly driving are severe conditions, so changing earlier is a sensible choice.

Can I use it together with AT Fix-IT or Nano ATF Treatment?

Short answer: Yes. Multi ATF is the fluid; Nano ATF Treatment adds extra protection as regular care, and AT Fix-IT is for gearboxes that already jerk, slip or engage slowly.

Will a new fluid fix a gearbox that already slips or jerks?

Short answer: Fresh fluid helps, but hardened seals in the hydraulic control system are a common cause of these problems. That is what KM+ AT Fix-IT is for. Gearboxes with broken parts or electrical faults need a workshop.
